  • I may have lived long enough to become a stubborn old man.

I tire of the adaptation. I do believe in evolution. But, from the moment I was born I have been at sea with change.

I am now a different kind of human being.

Last night I had a dream.
I was calling a cab, and every time I figured out how to dial my phone - it became something else...
As much as I tried to will my subconscious to dream it was a phone,
I found myself holding a toaster, a Barbie playhouse, a hand held game...
the baby toy buttons were made of primary colored plastic...
The thing had drop down menus and a touch screen that played a karaoke tune...
It was sometimes a piece of fan folded paper.

The words "easy to use" appeared in seventeen languages.

The dream was evidence - persistent intuitive problem solving has made me weary.
I love technology, I love science, and the idea that the mystical body is more godlike than I.
But, enough! I have been made to feel like an immigrant.
...unable to stop the hunger for a country I can understand.
