  • ...my parents are academics. They would argue.

    My dad says, "Opposing perspectives bring out a truth."

    They were heatedly arguing and I reached out and put one hand over each of their mouths.

    Although I don’t remember it, my dad says that I also grabbed their hands and pulled them together so they were holding hands.
