This summer has been stupenduous for the growing of basil. I can do no wrong with this herb! Past years have not been so kind, and I have struggled with feeding my addiction to pesto. I use "pesto" in the broadest sense, since I do not always stick to the classic recipe.
This year has been so good, that one of my containers actually fell ten feet to the ground, and it still continued to grow! I went down and "picked up the pieces", and continued to harvest the wonderful leaf.
Close your eyes, and let your nose to the work!!!
