  • I work at a retreat center where people are very good at balancing stones. Every once in a while I come to work and find the most recent group has left behind some stone sculptures. When hiking, they're called cairns, to mark places in the path that might be hard to find otherwise. This one is on the way to our Oratory, a contemplative prayer space, which is easy to find, but perhaps a step on a difficult path.
