  • This was the day before she got married. Met with her friends, posed for them. Looked -looks- happy. (Looks: Account of the wedding day, related only years later, rather describes a sad ceremony without her parents. Said they couldn't make it. I always thought or had the impression that it was the other parents who weren't there...)

    My mother... The beautiful gentle libran soul.

    I will remember her like in that photo. Young and smiling. Playing later for me, a boy of 4, serious harmonica. Singing songs. Telling stories, fairy tales.

    Passed away on 5th of December 2011. Finally -I hope- joining her much-missed sweetheart, my dad. The one she married the day after this photo was taken...

    So long mom. Keep smiling. As long as I can live to remember you. Like that.
