  • This is my secret place. Not many know where it is, and out of those who do, even less ever go. In every place I have ever lived I have always scouted out a secret place. Somewhere to relax, read, soak in the sun. Coming to North Dakota had a subliminal level of culture shock for me. So faint I didn't realize it until I found this place. I kept it secret for months, escaping to the rock house and the lake behind for hours. When I finally did bring company, it changed it. Tainted by the new people with me. The different memories I have there now. It is amazing how easily people and long nights can entirely change the way you see places and times you loved.
