  • I desire to write about subjects incidents and even people but somehow a secret fear overcomes, I start thinking shifting papers, sifting topics and try to decide...where do I begin to tell the stories that are pushing my heart soul and mind , making my hand turn to grasp the pencil and start scribbling drawing and recording...I turn towards the computer, it takes a long long time to open on the page that I need to see...its easier to open a real book...but then recently I read a quotation which shook me quite a said
either write something worth reading or...just read others who have...I believe it was a warning that I was wasting my time writing poetry and scribbling comments under photographs all what comes next? and I liked the line 'so what inspires you? and the answer comes' writing' Ah that brought me back to my love of expression and then it was all so clear.'Who taught us by The Pen Taught us what we knew not'
so that's the first lesson and as I am writing these lines I can hear the Call for the evening prayer. It is a beautiful cool evening the day long drizzle has stopped clouds still cover part of the sky, I have a writing assignment on the topic of media and society and I have come to know that a writer is also known as 'Content Creator' how wonderful-so let us be the real content creators.
What would be the useful subject then? The cool breeze that I felt just now entering through the window reminded me of 'The Shawl' we as Kashmiri people are famous for this clothing item and we do have a style so...there may be I can share this knowledge with my reader friends around the world.'How stylishly the shawl can be worn' On formal functions we do wear it like you can see in the photograph. There goes my story about Kashmir shawls and styles. There is so much more but now I know that next it will be another tradition from our Dear Homeland Kashmir.
