  • Many artists can talk extensively about why they do what they do and how their art will change the world.

    The elaborate theoretical background they create to their art often appears like a whole new and different piece of art to me.

    I stay absolutely mute in these kind of discussions. Maybe that is because in reality what I do cannot even be considered art.

    I really do not care if what I do is art or not. I just need to do what I do, because otherwise my soul gets sick.

    If my eyesight will get so bad that I cannot do my art anymore, I will have to invent a whole new and different skill to be able to lighten up my spirit.

    Often they ask me,” What is your next artistic project?”

    My answer is,” I do not know. I will sit down with my brushes and colors in front of an empty sheet of fine cotton paper and wait, what happens!”
