I feel so blessed to have found this place in which to share my stories. Short ones, long ones, fun ones, sad ones, poetic ones, sporty ones, hilarious ones, tragic ones. No matter the subject matter, regardless of how well I've crafted them, whether I've used appropriate terminology, complete or incomplete sentences, proper usage of its and it's, there, they're, or their, led or lead (I recently made an issue of this on Cowbirders, just to stir it up a bit), run-on sentences (who, me?), or just a simple, passing observation - I know you will read it, and sometimes love it, and sometimes leave it, but it's wonderful to have an audience. It's glorious, in fact.
Margereta's piece on gratitude got me to thinking, and I immediately thought of you, my Cowbird friends and audience. I am unbelievably grateful that you guys and gals are in my life. I love reading your stuff, as much or more as I love that you read mine. Even though I have yet to meet one of you, live and in person, I feel like you are very much a part of my life, and I yours.
Thanks for being there. I am, indeed, grateful for your very real virtual presence in my life.
