  • Lottie: Have you anything else to say?
Oliver: Why no. That's all there is. There isn't anymore. Is there Stanley?
Stan: No, that's our story and we're stuck with it. In it.

    Habeas Corpus (1928)

The local news is on. I'm not fully listening. It's background noise but still hear this - if 7+billion of us humans on the planet stood side by side we would take up 500 square miles.

I haven't been around much lately. I've been doing more as the end of the summer approaches. Seeing people, being outside, watching the stars at night. Dancing. Laughing. Pondering.

Smelling the rainbows and wishing on the flowers.

I've rededicated to playing my bass. I've been blowing off school a bit. I'm not sunk yet but have to get on the proverbial stick.

I've been thinking of the future and the past and how sometimes the past reconfigures itself to appear in the present.

It feels good to write this little diary entry now - 7:34 pm ET - August 22, 2012.

I have refilled the well. I'm back.
