    Here in the street, our public domain, a peasant boy with mismatched socks puts his very body between the people and the icons of powerful authority and decadent consumerism that loom behind him. No shirt on his back but cloaked with adamance, his fellow players at the ready, he is our contemporary fool, our jestor, our mummer with a medieval pageant reborn for this new age, to resurrect the slain Robin Hood, and 'sing out the lords' to pay their dues to the townsfolk.
