  • Hi,

I am Nehal Jadon, a Third Grade teacher at a low income private school in Hyderabad. I am fortunate enough to teach my tiny 30 superheroes. Yes they called "superheroes", a name that was chosen by them from all the options I gave them. For them "Superheroes" can travel the world with no money coz they can FLY, they help others, they are free to do whatever they want, everybody looks up to them, They have everything they need and all of this without any money. This made me realize how badly their backgrounds affect them, but I would not let that be an obstacle in their education and most of all in their dreams.

Most of them have never been out of their community. If only I could show them that there is a world beyond their community. A place where there is room for their dreams.

My responsibility is not just educating them, but putting them on a different life path, I need your help. To give my "superheroes" a proper education and nurture their dreams, I will need: Funds for a well-resourced classroom (our classroom right now is mostly non-plastered walls), a projector, a mini library in class (to see the world through them) , field trips (to see the world beyond our classrooms) etc.

I request you all to be generous and help me raise funds in whichever way you can.

You can also help by fulfilling any of our wish from this wishlist :)
