    I let you in, it was beautiful, just like I knew it would be. Now you are gone. And it hurts. But I am more than I used to be.

    This photo is from one of my favorite places in the world. A quiet and simple ridge in the Red Desert. I saw this composition, of large rocks surrounding pebbles and all of them in the sand. I loved the way they'd been worked by the wind, and the rains, to create such a beautiful pose. Standing there in the wind, listening to nothing but the music of it playing through the landscape- I realized we were witness to one of the oldest aspects of life.
