  • Always a stranger, always alone,
I tumble in the wind, a thistle
on hummingbird wings. Dry with desire,
I roll past rose gardens, headed for the desert.

for Patrick Lawler and Nick Alfonsetti
    from Desire

1)Desire is my 700-page erotic poem (this bit is not intended to be erotic). It has a tentative publisher, but I may never complete the work required to finish it.
2)Again, I had a great deal of difficulty publishing this story. Too many people on Cowbird at once? On the way over to my office I wrote 5 more stories, but it took so long to publish this one, I shan't do the others right away!!!
