  • On the southern bank of the Thames, a landmark I would come to love, I snapped one of the first hundred of thousands of pictures I would take on a ninety day stroll through Europe.

I wanted and intended to jump off this bridge for the thrill of it, gauged that I thought I'd be able to swim back to shore, and decided to do so at night. Upon a quick Google search of the legality of jumping off Tower Bridge, I changed my mind. The amateur opinion I read that so enlightened me was something along the lines of not needing to worry about the legality, for the chances of surviving a plunge into such a powerful and sedimented current are slim.

The parents wouldn't have liked that one.
