  • Most days I greet the dawn. On cold clear mornings, these words from G.M. Hopkins, "God's Grandeur," come to mind:

    "Oh, morning, at the brown brink eastward, springs—
    Because the Holy Ghost over the bent
    World broods with warm breast and with ah! bright wings."

    While I am not religious, for me Hopkins captures the wonder and majesty of Dawn Patrol.
