  • Dear Anu,

your story about you being ill and afterwards for 2 years confined your house, but now finally returning to life, moves me deeply.

I am so happy you have a new project and life enters you in a new and exciting way.

Since the diagnose of my fading eyesight I feel a lot like this: for days in a row I stay home and worry about every little thing that happens in my body, depressive thoughts roam around inside my skull and sicken my brain cells. Then I push myself and go out, see a friend, a patient, paint a picture, return to life. Then I get home and close myself off again.

Since 4 years my life resembles a seesaw.

I do not really feel IN life, even though people around me might not notice. Probably even my family does not realize it. I feel in a limbo. Not really joyful and alive, but functioning.

How can a blind peson feel connected to life? I wonder.

    I know some who can.

    Loving what is....

Adapting to change and finding new ways of joy.....blablabla...wise blablabla......suddenly I sit there with a coffee cup in my hands and watch a hummingbird and feel life vibrate and there is JOY.

Ray and Donnie and Tony, you must have been in this limbo!
