  • The warmth of her tender touch chased away the winter chill that gripped my heart. "Like sunshine," I told myself. But I am searching for the sun today.

I slept like a baby in her loving arms and woke up to find her radiant eyes caressing my naked flesh. "Like sunshine," I told myself. But I am searching for the sun today.

Let's run away today and never come back, she whispered in my ears. She knew what I wanted to hear. She knew what makes me wake up & drag myself out of bed every morning. "Like sunshine," I told myself. But I am searching for the sun today.

What will happen to us when you find the sun?, she asked pulling me back onto her. "Maybe I'll get burnt," I wanted to say. But I didn't. I shrugged. "What do you think will happen to us?" I asked. She shrugged before she pushed me onto my back and planted a gentle kiss on my eyes. "Like sunshine," I told myself. But I am searching for the sun today.

You know what? she whispered through her shining eyes, sunshine never burns. "I know," I told myself. But I am searching for the sun today.
