  • Thanks San for this beautiful story. Even though i grew up in Rwanda, I never personally saw a gorilla even though I learned about Dian Fossey in school.
    As a kid, I enjoyed go on adventures in my neighborhood, exploring dark areas such as under bridges or tunnels but there was one thing that always made me come home early, our pet monkey.
    My dad go us a little monkey, I can remember its smell and noises. The monkey and I use to have a stare contest. Of course the little comedian will win the contest and he will receive a banana as a reward.

    I remember the Volcanos, tall and beautiful.

    I hope someday that I get to hike them and see the Gorillas.
