  • This story is for Cecilia, who wished to thank me for the message of hope I sent for her cat, Henry.
I understand how it is when your pet suffers or is in mortal danger, I understand it so much it hurts.
Two years ago my dear cat got lost. He got locked into my neighbour's cellar, but we couldn't hear him meowing from outside and my neighbour went away for the week-end. He'd been jailed for five days. He came home when my neighbour opened the cellar but we'd lost hope.
We went out to search him, the whole family, my granpa too. No answer for three days.
I lost hope and I cried my heart out. I...thought he was dead. Maybe a fox killed him.
When he came home after five hellish days I was so glad and relieved!
So I'm glad, really glad to read Henry's going to be well again.
Though, Cecilia, your dedication doesn't show up in my profile because you mispelled the name.
I'm just Sofia, with f, before i and a. It's the Italian spelling for the name.
I wanted to ask you if you could rectify the mistake in a more private manner, but there is no private message system on Cowbird.
It made me so glad to see my little message of hope was not only welcome, but it could actually help!
...so I was wondering if you could please add the right name to the dedication?
Here I hope I don't sound too fussy a person, but... Could you?
