  • That building was our cafeteria. Right at noon, everyone takes their lunch break. We had a 2 hour break, so most of us would eat quickly in order to nap at their desks or in their dorms with the rest of the time.

    The cooks tended to give us special choices to supplement the mantou, rice, veggies, and meat we'd get day in and day out. Other times, they'd try to save us extra french fries. Everyone loved the french fries and ate them with their chopsticks.
