  • My dog generally dislikes hard, cold surfaces, but she will make an exception for the kitchen floor. She will sit there for hours if need be, so long as there is a person around who may or may not be eating, or making food to eat.

    However, she knows she isn't supposed to beg for food - which is why when I caught her hovering hopefully behind my mom, she looked both guilty and defiant.
