This is an interesting summer for me, and usually to get away from everything I like to be by the pool. I've trained myself to hold my breath for long periods of time because I love the feeling of being underwater. I like being submerged underwater to just be able to think. Purely think.
One deep breath and you are underwater, holding your breath. One stroke, two stroke, completely isolated from the outside. It's almost like a vacation away from reality. But then you feel your lungs running out of air. You let out your last breath underwater slowly and you hold it for a couple more seconds; but you know you have to swim out towards the surface and out of the water to face what's out there, but when you do come up into reality for air you are surprised. You take another deep breath, and it's actually not as bad as you think. It's refreshing, and you feel revived. You are reborn. So again, Deep breath. One Stroke. Two Stroke. Go.
