  • I have no precipitation perception.

I can look out of a window
and be unable to tell you if it is raining.

The clear wet sheets are invisible to my eyes.

I cannot see the rain on
    the trees,
    the decking,
    the leaves,
    as I look out.

    If I look very carefully,
    stare,
at the ground for a few minutes,
I can finally pick out a puddle with a splash of rain.

    I have no precipitation perception.

Perhaps I shouldn’t live in Wales.
