  • Who cares if we didn't catch anything? The fish can live free, a seagul somewhere can have a meal, and we can laugh and share stories of the adventure for supper.

    The bright side is the way to go. Just because we lost the fish, doesn't mean we have to lose a good day. The equiptment stays hunched in the closet for now. Next time, if we come back empty handed, we'll have to believe it's the rods messing up, not our mistakes. Maybe the fish have finally learned the meaning of hooks. So let them ignore it. We might not end the fishing session with the product we had hoped for, but we have a different product. An ecxiting day, some memories, and hours not wasted.
