  • Running down Milvia Street, I come upon a trio of pedestrians strolling toward me. They are dressed mostly in white. Two older, one younger. The man has a perfect skinny white beard that extends to his torso. They are all three arm-in-arm.

    I choose a driveway and skirt into the street, so as not to disturb their peaceful progress. As I pass, we all four exchange a smile. The man offers "We would have moved!"

    "Yes, you would have," I agreed.
