    It's funny how I don't get surprised anymore, yet I still get disappointed. You'd think at this point I'd have given up hope. But no, here I am, a knot in my stomach and a lump in my throat and feeling sick with disappointment and frustration, all because I was hoping that maybe this time the male of my species wouldn't screw me over.
