  • Closing an important chapter in my life, and moving towards healing my heart and mind for the future, it's been quite the experience. I’ve been painfully picking up the pieces of myself as I strive for a brighter future. The ultimate motivation in my life right now are my friends.

The friends that just won’t leave. The ones that constantly remind you how much they care. The ones that really make you feel like you are worth something.

The ones that you see almost everyday, that you do everything together, the ones that are willing to sleep on the floor with you, eat left overs with you and be by you even if it’s just sitting on the couch with a bottle wine watching a shitty horror movie.

The ones that text you every morning saying good morning, asking you about your day, catching up with what is going on in your life even though they are not around.

The ones that drop a visit from time to time once they have time, to greet you with a big giant hug and to sit down and pick up where we left off.

The ones that you aren’t able to see as often as you used to because they are busy, but still drops you a thoughtful call to catch up every now and then.

The ones that send you inspirational text messages, telling you that it’s ok, you will be ok.

The ones that makes you feel like you are so loved, through small acts of kindness, like sending you food with little notes on it, foods you like to eat, and thoughtful convenient food for your “grab and go” days.

The ones that conveniently messages you when you are online making conversations with you and giving you that time of day.

Sometimes I feel like I don’t deserve all the love they give me, but I still feel so warm inside to have them in my life. Words aren’t enough to describe just how much I appreciate all of them. Thanks to these ones. The healing process as officially begun.
