  • I wandered around the market.. Vegetable vendors, flower sellers, hawkers selling fruits - all busy with customers but with a wary eye on me and my camera..

    Some looked at me with curiosity, some with amusement.. A few walked up to me and asked for their photographs to be taken.. Some of them ignored me completely..

    And then she caught my eye.. Shy but curious, she peeked at me through big bundles of flowers all around her.. A pretty design of vermillion and turmeric on her forehead, perfectly complimenting her captivating eyes..

    Only after I showed her the picture did she talk to me.
