  • Everyday, I make new art. I make chokers, earrings, drawings and paintings. Making these makes me happy. I mostly paint horses and people, because this is what I have around me most the time. I have been riding horses since I was small, and my dad rides horses. He breaks horses for a lot of people around us.

I use my art to make me happy, and to put food on the table. I also like to give my art as gifts, like for the people who come and help my family, do good for us here on the reservation. I say blessings for my friends, sing Lakota blessing song for them, and last week gave this painting to new friends from Colorado who helped us plant a garden.
