  • I have known the Swiss artist Anita Hohengasser for over 30 years. We met when I was living in St. Gallen in the early 1980s. I've been a fan ever since.

    This is a self-portrait from her most recent work. It is a strong, confident and thoughtful image that reminds me of something old or from another time - except for the pork pie hat.

    It is sort of like a pork pie hat, isn't it? Anita likes to mix things up - and so do I.
