  • I need to live
    I need to laugh
    I need to breathe
I need to be in places where
    Me being Me
    Is essential
    And yes, I know
    I have potential
    Although all remarks
    I hear are racial
I still think my brothers and sisters
    Are beautiful
Yet though not one of them
    Is blood related
    That doesn't stop me from
    Praying that they make it
They deserve everything this world has to give
    From love to happiness
    Even food for their kids
Now as for my blood relations
We can't even have a conversation
    Without some sort of complication
So I turn to my revitalization
    My sisters
    Inspire me to strive
    My brothers
Have me thanking Tunkash' I'm alive
    They're the reason I live
    Strive to be creative
    Say I can take it
    Believe I can make it
    Know I can handle it
    Cause without this new family
    There would be nowhere
    For me to be me
    To live
    To laugh
    Or
    To breathe
