  • My morning commutes rarely involve sightings of humans. Usually I spot sunrises, skyscrapers, ferris wheels, cemeteries, red foxes, sails boats when driving south on Lake Shore Drive on my way to work. Today I saw humans of a special nature and am convinced it's a sign.

This morning at around 7:34 a.m., while sitting at the light just east of Buckingham Fountain on Lake Shore Drive, three nuns walked westward through the cross walk in front of my truck. I grabbed my cell phone to take a photo to capture this rare sighting and got the nuns just as they were about to walk up the steps to the fountain.

Staci says we need to look for signs on side of the road as we travel through life. Three nuns heading westward is a sign for sure! Just what it means I don't know yet, but it's early in the day and I've yet to have my second cup of coffee.
