  • Siddhartha was lying beside the river gazing at the night-stars. A group of monks passing by stopped for a while as one of them went to Siddhartha and asked:

    "Why don't you come and join us in our quest to realize God instead of wasting your life in ignorance?"

    "So you understand God?"

    "I believe in God, but I do not understand him... yet" said one of the monks.

    "I understand God, but I do not believe him... yet", said Siddhartha. Night slipped by.
