  • "I wanna wear those things - those..." she points.

    "Goggles? Yes, sure. Here you go."

    "Ha! Look! I wanna jump! Jump to you!"

    "OK. Here I am, c'mon, jump!" She does.

    "Again! Let's do it again!" she squeals.

    And so we do...several times.


    "You're small" she proclaims, rather critically.

    "Um, yeah, I guess." I answer. "You might be too, when you grow up, you know..."

    "NO! I am BIG!" she shouts, eyes flashing. It is not quite fury but close. There's fire there, to be sure.

    "Oh, yes, yes you are. Sorry." I quickly apologize.


    "Quack" she then says.

    "Quack?"

    "Quack, quack!" she asserts, adding hand gestures to the sound.

    I am utterly lost by now but totally in love. In love with this odd little ducky.
