  • Mother Earth Parched, Dry.
    Thunder, Lightening, Wind, Dark Clouds,
    Storm Blows On. No Rain.

I wrote this Haiku yesterday while sitting on the back porch drumming for Rain to come visit for awhile and drop some rain on us as it has been big storms and no rain for almost a month. About 1 am the NOAA radio started beeping with severe storm warnings adding more counties as it moved closer. The thunder and lightening arrived, and it sounded like a little rain coming down too. Yee haw, I thought to myself as I rolled over and tried to get a little sleep. But when I checked my rain bucket in the morning, there was less than a half inch in it. Now we have more storm warnings coming in from the county above us.
    Rain dance, anyone?
