Donnie's story of the 4th on SC beach - moved me to share the problems with litter from many sources that hurt our beaches.

Often the drinkers and dangerous with fireworks and rude to others on the beach. But some of the litter is from people not drinking - but really not thinking about the impact on others that live on the beach or visit the beach.

This WA volunteer group does great work in four big pick up events each year. Also daily people walk the beach and clean up. making it safer for others.
