  • This was a rough past few days. There was an incidence with some macadamia nuts on Saturday. A half cup too many. Even four days apart was too often for macadamia nuts.

After lunch I was trying to read a book but my heart was trilling a high ring of alarm. Defeated, I lay down on the floor and woke up a few hours later.

Sunday it mustard. Mustard! A condiment! A completely ordinary thing that everyone slathers on their sandwiches- or in Sunday's case my bison burger and broccoli.
Again, down for hours. 2.75 to be exact. And when I woke up my arm was covered in drool. Dreaming about the food of my youth: lasagna, stuffed shells, pizza, gnocchi, wine, grilled cheese sandwiches, blueberrie pies.

It has been a hard lesson for my family and friends that there is more to love than food. They haven't fed me proper for years.

But NOW THEY CAN! Those wishing to feed me now have a little easier world. The pdf "What Anja Eats" is now available in list format. Simply email me a request along with 50 dollars. Cents! I mean cents.

    Or wishes. 50 wishes.
    For mustard.

This is karma: tell everyone you know that they simply aren't eating enough garlic every time they get sick. Also, wear it on your own skin like perfume, carry chunks of it in your pocket and you too will become intolerant.
