  • It entrances me, its deep purple, indigo,
    resonates with meaning I would
love to contain like the heavy crystal
    vase holding within and watering
the firm green stalks of some few
    of its flowers.

    Are you wild?
    Who planted you?

    I wait for the best
    light to bring out
    its color,
    I wait until the
    sun is going down
    because how the
    indigo will be
    enhanced
    then.

    When the photo
    is developed,
    I cannot wait.

...for a moment I am transported
back to the time when all photos were
    in black and white
    for the striking photo portrays
    the Siberian iris in silhouette.

THIS is the bluish color in the Siberian iris I was trying to bring out.
