  • Lovely place, he? You are right, this is beautiful. What you don't know is...
...that this place is HELL. You don't believe me? Well...
The nights at this place are the most beautiful in the world. Bathed in a bright moonlight, they are perfumed with scents of jasmines and gardenias and night flowers. And there is something in the air, something much more than flower scents and moonlight, that makes you only think of love.
Maybe they have diffused some magic stuff into the nights of the place; the equivalent of a love potion and- believe me- a damn powerful one!
Being all the time busy thinking about love, eventually, you end up falling in love. And you are happy like you have never been and you think you'll turn into a bird that will spread its wings and fly to heaven.
Don't be fooled by this euphoria. It won't last. From the moment you fall in love, you are doomed to be one more damned soul wandering around the place. It's just a question of time, but this is bound to happen.
For love is cursed here. Oh, they won't tell you this, even though everybody knows. They'll smile to you and praise love and tell you how much they treasure it. Even the night breeze will whisper into your ear mysterious words about how romantic love is in Hell. Only too late will you find out that all this is just a trap. Love at this place is a torment. Maybe it is a punishment for something evil you have done; or it is merely a game of some naughty demons. But you will have a hard time - this is the only thing you may be sure about.
You see, they have put so many rules to love at this place that you will never enjoy it. Who can enjoy a deep passion without freedom?
You will soon be like the guy in the old legend: he was into a lake of clear, fresh water, he was excruciatingly thirsty, but he could never drink any of it. The most delicious fruits were hanging in front of him, but he could never reach them, he would never taste them. What was his name? Tantalus, I think. Not that this is important; when you are tortured, little do you care about the name of the torment that has been afflicted upon you.
There are grades of torture at the place. The worst that can happen to you is to fall in love with a demon. If you are lucky, the demon will be indifferent to you and you will leave the place unharmed. But if the demon also falls in love with you...only God can save you. And it seems that God has a lot to do nowadays, so you will have to cope with the torment alone.
I will not write more----I cannot. A weird smell in the air- something like a mixture of sulfur and jasmine and gardenia and night flowers under the moonlight is getting into me. My blood turns hot, it's boiling like a hell cauldron. I am filled with desire; scenes that no decent person would venture to describe shape into my mind.
When you have loved in Hell and you have been loved by a demon at this place, the feeling will never leave you.
It will always come back to torment you. Especially when you less expect it.
I send my love to you all.
    From Hell.

PS. Oh, and PLEASE don't be naive; Hell is NOT the place where I am busy writing right now :)
