  • A picture taken some years ago; one is now 86 while the other is 6 (and a half.) And both gave me lessons in how to live a life just three days ago.

My dad had his birthday a week ago and handed in his resignation as he always does at this time of the year. The Owner of the organisation declined it once again. So he continues from nine to five - a life dedicated to service and sincerity.

My son wanted to have a 'special treat' while having his dinner the other evening - usually means playing a game on the iPad while munching. I agreed, not knowing that mum - out for the evening - had made a policy decision previously. 'Ok - get the iPad if you want.'

'But ma has banned the iPad for a week.' A lesson in honesty - and so we drew some pictures instead.

Sincerity and honesty - lessons from above and below. Can I live up to it all?!
