  • Today was a big day in news and politics. The Affordable Care Act was upheld by the US Supreme Court, Atty. Gen. Eric Holder was held in contempt, NBA Drafts, JP Morgan Chase, McDonald's S'mores pies.

The most important headline today, however, was that today was Spousal Unit's birthday. As a tradition—I love that we have traditions—the wife and I go to an Italian restaurant called Provino's where the birthday person gets a free meal. It is our favorite pseudo-fancy restaurant and we like getting a higher end meal on the cheap, especially since we spoil each other with gifts on our birthdays. Sometimes we even avoid going there the rest of the year so it can keep feeling special.

The food is great, especially the rolls soaked in butter with garlic shavings. In this photo, Brooke was trying to narrow down here meal choices. It's really hard when every dish is delicious.
