  • DISCLAIMER: The following is a product of the Idle Mind Chronicles.

A sampling of some of the thoughts that bounce around in my mind. Sometimes these thoughts scare me and I quickly remind myself that I have always had a creative mind, and that soothes me, like grilling food with a cold beer in my hand.

I have long felt the letter "Q" is out of place in the alphabet. It should reside somewhere in between W, X, Y and Z.

Why is it that when everyone sings the song, "The Age of Aquarius" we all sing the same lyrics? You know which one:
This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius
    The Age of Aquarius
    Aquarius! Aquarius!
Is it because we only know that one lyric?
That song will now be in your head all day. Sorry.

I can't stand it when a massage therapists tries to cleanse my aura. It usually screws my aura up because I just want to shout, "I"m paying you to get the f-ing knot out of my back!"

I wish I was smart enough to work at Google.

Sol Luckman has the most colorful collection of pictures of any site on the internet. Ever. I say that as a good thing.

Sometimes I swear people can read my thoughts. It's quite embarrassing.

I could listen to Bob Costas talk about anything from sports to toothaches.

Out of curiosity, how many of you knew "toothache" is one word? I Googled it.

When I was in grammar school we had an in-class assignment to draw a picture of a whale. I suck at drawing but I completed the task anyway. The next day the teacher had all the drawings posted on a cork board in the back of the classroom. She addressed the class in the morning saying she posted all but one of the whales because she didn't want the "artist" to get made fun of. Today I would like to confess to my former classmates that the missing whale belonged to me. And to my former teacher, the announcement wasn't necessary, and I'm thankful we hadn't covered the process of elimination method yet.

**The above drawing is by yours truly. I still can't draw, the only difference being I'm less ashamed of it today.
