  • When the Spirit calls
it is time to sit down.

    Make peace with a family
    spread West and East Coast.

    Pray for resolution
to the brew of menacing storms
on the dry lands in between.

    Make peace with connections,
    they are here now
    and therefore meant to be.

Quell cyclones of violence, bullets, dust and leaves.

The Christian Spirit finds safety and sanctity in Trinities.

With one thought she summons him
instantly his Spirit enters her room.
    His Spirit is angry.
    But she is elated
    because he is here.

    Spirit calls are usually brief,
often interrupted by their human owners.

The phone rings. An email drops.

    The Living Spirits meet.
