  • I recently went to Europe for over two weeks. My favorite memory of the entire trip was the bike ride trip my brother and I took around the Dutch countryside. The day was perfect, warm and sunny, the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The Dutch countryside is very bucolic and invokesa sense of relaxation and a tangible sense of a slower pace of life. We made our way through several small towns and villages that looked just as they did hundreds of years ago. Eventually as we followed the bike path we made our way to the iconic windmill and I got this lovely picture. At another point we ran across a herd of Scottish Highland oxen in the forest. We saw sheep, birds of prey, trees, cottage gardens, cobbled streets, goats and each other :)
