(or, She's Just Not That Into You)
He made a beeline for her as soon as he got on at Bellville and to be fair, it's easy to see why. She was gorgeous, but not even a little bit interested. At first she politely ignored him with a flash of that practiced half smile that says, "It's sweet of you to try but go away before I drive my heel through your big toe." Eventually she just folded her arms around her handbag and rolled her eyes at me before feigning sleep. I love her expression. She manages to look annoyed with her eyes closed.
And I can't quite decide whether he looks like he's planning his next strategy or wondering, flabbergasted, why the last one failed.
