  • The start of 2012 has been great so far since moving back to CA to help start a new endeavor with some of my mentors/colleagues. I'm also traveling a bit and meeting new people, seeing new things in the process.

The challenging thing with all of this is that sometimes I take on one too many things at once. I feel bad saying 'no' to friends/colleagues when asked to help them on projects.

Since starting the bike tour in Iceland, my focus has been on the ride, nothing else... Ok, well answering a few emails here and there to keep up-to-date with other projects. Me only focusing on one thing is very hard for me. I like to wear many hats.

Every so often, we encounter these bridges that only allow one vehicle to cross at a time.

Why not two lanes? Why not a two lane bridge? Is a car passing one at a time really convenient?

I'm looking for a metaphor or something poetic to connect these types of bridges to my busy life back in CA, but I haven't quite found it. Maybe another 200 miles or so on the southern coast will help me with this.

But the one thing I know, is that I have some prioritizing to do when I get back to the states.

    Stay tuned.
