  • On Father's Day, my grandson, William John, was Christened. His parents, my youngest son, Nathaniel, and his wife, Erin, made a commitment to their religion and values by bringing him formally into their church. It happens to be the church I grew up in as a youngster, was married in (still a youngster ;-) ) and baptized my own children. It felt a huge structure in those early days when I walked down the aisle for my first communion in my white dress and gloves. Yesterday, I could appreciate its architecture and beauty, especially the windows reflected in the baptismal font. Hm, I couldn't get a clear and crisp image, and I tried.
