  • Ok class, some things to remember:

Most of all: take care of your connection. Stay conscious of each other and what you feel.

Remember you both have to do your part and share the responsibility of making it work.

Don't assume you know the other persons intentions. Listen every time.

You are allowed to assume that your partner means well and is trying his or her best.

You both will make mistakes. Learn from them and move on. It is not necessary to point out all the mistakes to your partner.

Help the other person to understand what you feel. If you know what would make you feel better, say it. Don't blame.

Celebrate together when things are going well. Give each other credit for learning to work together.

Both partners are responsible of their own bodies, well-being and balance.

Find the positive, a mistake can turn into something new and interesting if you both allow it.

    Don't give up. Try again.

...and that's it on today's tango class. Tomorrow we'll turn on the music and go through it all again.
