  • In a place perhaps reserved for the 1%, I stumbled upon a tiny Occupy movement. Because of this collection of about 15 tents, security was verifying Harvard IDs at the gate. This seemed to limit the movement to students and faculty. (I snuck in with a professor I'm profiling.) It was quiet and cold and picturesque. Across from the tents is a statue of John Harvard. Students stopped and posed with him, as he looked out at this orderly and civilized movement.
